Capital Campaign Volunteer Team Updates

Celebrating Our Amazing Volunteers: The Heart of IAC’s Capital Campaign

At IAC, the capital campaign is being shaped by an extraordinary group of volunteers who have poured their time, talents, and faith into this effort! These dedicated individuals are the backbone of all that we’re doing.A key part of their work has been organizing and serving within the PETYAC process, a collaborative and structured approach that has guided the campaign’s implementation. PETYAC stands for the six core teams driving this effort: Prayer Team, Events Team, Thanks Team, Youth Team, Ambassador Team, and Communication Team. Here’s a closer look at how each team contributes:

  1. Prayer Team: This team keeps the campaign spiritually grounded, creating opportunities for us to pray together as a faith family and leading us in discernment. They are also preparing a prayer guide to support our journey, helping us reflect deeply in the lead-up to Commitment Sunday.
  2. Events Team: Responsible for organizing gatherings and activities, this team builds community and enthusiasm for the campaign. From kick-off events to informational sessions, they create spaces for connection and shared vision.
  3. Thanks Team: Gratitude is at the heart of our campaign, and the Thanks Team ensures that everyone who contributes, whether through gifts, time, or talents, feels genuinely appreciated and recognized.
  4. Youth Team: Engaging our young people, this team fosters their involvement and helps them understand the importance of stewardship and participation in the life of the church.
  5. Ambassador Team: These volunteers act as the face of the campaign, sharing the vision, answering questions, and inviting others to join in this transformative work. Their outreach efforts are vital in building excitement and commitment.
  6. Communication Team: Clear and effective communication is essential, and this team ensures that updates, stories, and campaign materials are shared widely and creatively, keeping everyone informed and inspired.

To our incredible volunteers: thank you. Your commitment, creativity, and faithfulness are a gift to us all, and we are so grateful for the countless ways you’ve contributed to this effort! As we continue on this journey, let’s celebrate these teams and their remarkable work—and let’s join them by supporting the campaign in prayer, participation, and generosity. Together, we’re welcoming God’s work among us!

Introducing the Campaign Prayer for IAC’s Capital Campaign

As we embark on this exciting capital campaign, we invite everyone in our church family to join us in prayer. Together, we lift our hopes, dreams, and efforts to God, seeking guidance, unity, and inspiration as we work toward strengthening our community and fulfilling our mission.

IAC Capital Campaign Prayer:

“Father, everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand (1 Chron. 29:14 NIV). As we prepare to make space at the table for others, we pray that the giving of our time, talents and resources towards this project will be a way of receiving and releasing your healing gospel - together. What we bring is already yours: use it for your kingdom purposes. Give us eyes to see and ears to hear your direction for your growing church. Amen.”

We ask you to join the Executive Team and Prayer Team in praying this prayer regularly. In addition, the Prayer Team will be hosting upcoming events where we can gather as a faith family to pray together. To further guide us, the Prayer Team is creating a campaign prayer guide, which will be completed after the Christmas season. This guide will help prepare our hearts for Commitment Sunday on March 2, 2025, when, after a season of prayerful discernment, we will be invited to share our pledges for the capital campaign.Let us unite in faith, trusting that through prayer and God’s guidance, we can accomplish great things for our church and community.

Blessings,

Frank Hankins and Katelyn Richards, IAC Campaign Prayer Team Co-Leads

Exciting News: Launching IAC’s Capital Campaign Logo and Slogan!

We are thrilled to announce the unveiling of a brand-new logo and slogan, specially designed for IAC’s upcoming capital campaign! This marks an exciting step forward in our journey to strengthen and grow our church community.
